Here's a chipper I picked up earlier this week. Got if for $850 and after new points, filters, and a coil she's already running. FIgured it would beat loading and paying to get rid of brush and debris on the small tree jobs and landscape jobs we do. Ill try and get some better pictures tomorrow.

Next is some paint, exhaust, and new knives.

Let me know what your think!

I had one just like it years ago. Take the knives to a machine shop rather than buying new, they should be able to put a new edge on them easily.

Sorry havent been on in a while but I live in Kingston just north of Plymouth.

    Yes It has a 318.

A new coil, points, and fixing the firing order and she was running. Now theres a radiator leak I have to fix but after that every things already greased and ready to go.

That thing has some balls when I had that drum spinning the other day!

Will do. Might be a few weeks one I get it mechanically good and turn keep.

BIg Dogg: Thanks for the tip! Haven't changed or sharpened them yet but hopefully they will come out easy enough.

Hardest part is adjusting them to the right height.

I have my knives shrpened too. I ndont know about that particular unit, but I can flip mine as well. That is a great old machine for clearing brush up to roughly 6 inches.
