What are they good for? How do they affect windrowing? and the trip action? and will they pay for themself?

How much of what kind of plowing do you do? if you do 2 drives they're a waste of money. If you do multiple parking lots and road ways they can save a lot of time in clean up.

The more info you provide, the better your questions can be answered

The answer to your last question is yes.

the others you will learn. And no, they don't affect trip action on a full blade trip. (honestly not sure on a trip edge).

I have found when windowing with wings on that they stop snow from trailing off in the leading edge. You need to go a little faster and the trailing wing will throw the snow up and to the side nicely. So for wide open lots there a big time saver.

Worth every penny, they save you time. They are great for clean up and you will notice that there is less to clean up too.

No difference in tripping on my boss.

most wings will trip with the blade which wings are you looking at getting and which plow do you have.. and yes they will pay for themselfs they will save you time in plowing you will not loose the snow off the side of your blade. and if you are sub contracting you will usually get more money with wings on your plow

    Why not?

That's a narrow plow, it can easily take it

If you're plowing a commercial lot of smaller size, then the wing can be your best friend.
