    What if you cut the tread of an old Semi truck or similarly stiff tire to the radius of a plow (you may not get the entire plow height, but so what) and just bolted it to side braces at the end of the plow (perpendicular, and of course you could play with the shape). Would the tire be stiff enough to hold in some of the trail off when cleaning a parking lot that requires a bunch of straight pushing? And would it flex enough to not do any damage to the lighter weight plows like ST's, MT's and 22's? Has anyone ever tried this?

    Yes, using conveyor belting. Had some old .5 inch belt at the shop and bolted it to the outer rib of an Meyers blade. Worked great cheap and it you hit a curb your only dammage is a free rubber strip and some time.
