...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
    WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WATCH FOR ELEVATIONS ABOUT 1500 FEET ACROSS THE ADIRONDACKS...
CATSKILLS...TACONICS AND BERKSHIRES FOR TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
    WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM CONTINUES TO DEVELOP OFF THE CAROLINA
COAST. THE LOW WILL DEEPEN AS IT INTERACTS WITH AN UPPER LEVEL
SYSTEM AND HEADS NORTHEAST ALONG THE EASTERN SEABOARD TUESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY. ENOUGH COLD AIR WILL WRAP AROUND THE LOW TO CHANGE RAIN
TO SNOW ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE SOUTHERN ADIRONDACKS
CATSKILLS...TACONICS AND BERKSHIRES. THE SNOW WILL BE THE HEAVIEST
TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR ELEVATIONS GREATER THAN
    1500 FEET.

THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR MORE THAN 7 INCHES OF SNOW IN A 12 HOUR
TIME FRAME FOR THESE LOCATIONS. IT WILL BE A HEAVY WET SNOW...
WHICH COULD BRING SOME TREE LIMBS AND POWER LINES DOWN. THE TREES
ARE STILL MAINLY FULLY LEAFED IN THESE AREAS. THE WINDS WILL BE
BRISK FROM THE NORTH AT 15 TO 30 MPH.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.

LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA FOR THE LATER
    UPDATES ON THIS SITUATION.

Well your one lucky guy for getting snow this early. Looks like you will have 25 major snowstorms. They are saying that litchfield county in CT could get a inch or so of some wet snow. But I live down near the water. Very lucky due to the fact that i havent even started to do my leaf clean-ups yet. But to be honest with ya i think its gonna be a very very busy winter season for us in the northeast.

CrazyPlower>>>I bet that both of us will be plowing before Fall Clean-up is done (just like last year). I think we are in for a long & $$$ filled winter.
