    My 97 f 150 calls for a Meyers mount 17108. will also fit a 97-99 f250 LD. I see a 17098 that fits a 92-98 f250 4600 fgawr used for sale. Will this mount (17098) also fit on my 97 f-150 with a few inches of lift?

The more Info I find re: whether or not a Meyers mount 17098 will also work on my 97 f150 which calls for a 17108 keeps pointing me towards a yes fitting my truck. Any exp folks able to verify or shoot it down?

Pretty sure the F250 LD and regular F250 have two different frames under them, so doubt the mounts will be interchangeable.

Sorry Charlie, won't work without serious modification. Completely different frames.

Are you sure? The 97-99 F250 LD's had 7 lug axles and were exactly the same bodies as the F150's of that generation. There is also a F150 7700 with 7 lug axles that is basically the same as a F250 LD. I'm going to say it will fit.

While I agree with you, his question is will the 250 frame from the previous year's fit 150. I'm going to say No. If memory serves me correctly, 97 was a major change for F150. The current(time frame) 250 didn't change til 98 as a 99 model.

The op is talking about a 97_99 lite duty 250 which was essentially was an 150. 1998 was the last year of the obs 250 which was a totally different frame. So no as basher said won't work

Well you're wrong, the F150 stopped sharing a frame with the F250 HD in 95, the 250 LD shared a frame with the F150 (96-98) while the 250 HD remained the same until 99 when they introduced the SD (another frame.)

The seven lug wheel where only used on the F150 and F250 LD and that frame requires the 17108.

    Now if his F150 was a 95......................

I re-read the original post and I simply misread it. My bad.
