Will SnowEx V-Maxx Spreader 8500 handle a sand/gravel mix?

Looking at buying a 8500. We use a bulk sand/gravel spec'd 47B mixed with about 15% salt and I load them to the max. From searching the postings on here it looks like most people use straight salt. I am tired of the gas engine rigs and the headaches they bring. We have used mostly steel Henderson's for the last 20 yrs and I am ready to try something new and hopefully improved.
Will the 8500 handle this mix?

We have an 8000 that we have run 50/50 mix with wet sand. We will always run the vibrator. The material has always worked well as long as you keep it flowing often and do not allow it to freeze.

I believe snowex's site says they can run 50/50 salt/sand. says nothing about gravel.
