Why disconnect the left cylinder?

    I see in here with the fluid change it's mentioned to disconnect the left cylinder to remove the cover. Why is this? I can see my drain plug on the bottom of the unit and the fill on the side.

    Lift cylinder, not left cylinder...must have been a typo Robbie :).

    If you need access to the pump or manifold unit on an RT3 Boss you need to remove the top pin from the lift cylinder and tip the cylinder out for clearance in order to remove the plastic pump cover.
