People in Upper Michigan have long been touted as tough, and unshakable.

I saw this picture on the front page of our local paper on Friday...and didn't think anything of it......Its just normal for around here.

Until this morning....I got to thinking ... No wonder its so hard to get decent paying customers... Even the little old ladies are out with their snowblowers during big storms.

She probably went in for a brandy and a Pasty when she was done.

LOL....probably. I was suprised that she wasn't using a snowscoop. Its usually the choice of true yoopers.

I moved up to Northern Mich in 96 in the snowbelt area and figured I'd have no problem getting sub-contracting work. What a letdown. I never new that so many people had snowplows and had a hard time finding work. :dizzy:
