    40+ years ago, gas went from .259 up to .269.I complained about the cost of gas cutting into the profits! :laughing:

    If my memory serves me right in 1969 diesel was 12 cents per gal. Premium Leaded
    gasoline was 34 to 38 cents a gal. That was the year I received my first drivers lic.

    My father was a General Contractor at that time, we used diesel for form spray on his concrete forms. Thats the reason I remember the cost per gal. I was a laborer on
    one of his building crews for a summer job. Not sure if there was different types of fuel
    back then as there is now. RE: high and low sulfur contents
