    For 06' F350 4 door 6.0.
Which plow should I go with? I've used Boss, Westen, Fisher, Blizzard.
I have good support for Red plows. Not so much yellow or white.
    I think I want a SS DXT 9'2.

    Any insight?

    You're biased.

OP, Go with the dealer you like the best. Since this is who you will be stuck with when parts/repairs or warranty work is needed.

What is everyone paying for a DXT. I can get new installed. With a deflector for just under $7400.

That's seems like the average price, you can find them cheaper if have it shipped from a online dealer and install yourself.

With a install rate of $340.00 I'd rather go that route. That way if there is a failure I have some one to dog on. I'd prefer to not end up with a "bird" special.

I'm with Buff, i'd rather like to know it was installed correctly and every bolt is tight, than to go dog someone after my plow and truck are trashed.

$340 buys a lot of beer

I had my DXT installed and spent a good 6hrs going through hit "fixing" things that didn't match the installation instructions when it came to wiring, relay and solenoid mounting along with a few other things. At the end of the day all the dealer did for me was remove the Meyer I had and install the Boss mount. I gave them hell about what I found backed up with pictures of what was done and how it differed from the installation instructions. They gave me a credit on my account for my time.

One more point and I'll put my hat back on.....

When you install it yourself you learn how it works,
This will be a great benefit when the breaks down at 2am and your dealer is warm and tosttey sleeping in their bed.

Fixing it is on you a warranty does you no good, untill they can fit you in
    Latter in the week.

    Can you Waite?
I can't , time is money and lost contracts for nonfeasance.
