Where does this part go?

    I followed these instructions to adjust my V-XT.


    After moving the bumper stop, I looked down and found this washer sitting near the bolt. I wasn't paying attention and didn't see where it came from.

    I looked at the installation manual and didn't see where this part went either.

    The only bolt I took out was the bumper stop bolt so I presume it has something to do with that.

    Any thoughts?

    It belongs on the bumper stop bolt and is a lock washer thus keeping the bolt from loosening. But a little locktite is a better method and applies to any bolts on any plow. The constant shake and vibration will loosen everything up given enough time so the locktie adds some nice reliability.
