I got a call from one of my crews, his Ventrac got stuck in a place he ha sbeen many times before. There was no way in or out of this area with any other type of machine, and i had to blow my way in! But the job got done!

lol. Yeah they are last years pics, I just got around to posting them.

The area is 700' long with 3 single door fire exits. They just wanted the doors opened up.

I am amazed the Ventrac got as far as it did.

The little machine amazes me every time it goes out. The 54" blower has made the track down the back of that building many times, and only bee stuck a few times. Normally a skid steer is sent rescue him....but this time....no skid steer was going to make it to him. :)

We take our Ventrac through the deep stuff for fun - that machine is one tough tractor!

I have thought about replacing my sit down zero turn mower with one of these, partly because of the winter use I would get out of it, but three things have stopped me. 1) Closest dealer/parts is an hour away. 2)price. and 3) I have read some peoples reviews that say they have trouble with them running hot in the summer. Probably not an issue for you.

Agreed - the older 4000 series tractors had a harder time in the heat. My new Ventrac 4500P does awesome though. It has a bigger radiator, and some additional shielding to help prevent the radiators from plugging up as often. This tractor has outperformed my expectations!

I don't think you'd be happy with it replacing a mid mount z. They don't mow nearly as fast.

I would consider adding one as a supplement with a flex deck on bigger areas for the benifit of winter use. That's what I did this year.

Yeah, and my mid Mount z is a Ferris with 4 wheel suspension, so when I had the chance to demo a unit a couple years ago, the ride wasn't even close either. Ferris WAAAAY smoother.

That's cool, I hate to have to be a safety Nazi but what if that trench collapsed?

So what if it did? Its snow we are talking about not soil. Not like it would crush the cab (doesn't look like a soft cab) As long as he'd have a cell phone to call for help if he couldn't maneuver out of there.

Apparently you don't understand what an avalanche can do to a person.
