I got this installed a couple of weeks ago and I got it running off a federal switch box split front and rear strobes

now the question is the installed left me with a lead and he said if I wanna change the pattern I would just touch the lead to the power wire ( which sounds a little dangerous no ? ) can I just wire that lead on to the momentary switch on the federal box and that every time I hit that
switch it would change the pattern ?

    thanks

yes absolutely....it's a very low draw wire though so perfectly safe to touch to power if u want...

find the pattern that cycles through them all and leave it...
