Are these able to be mounted in the engine compartment?

I have one of mine back by the firewall / Battery and covered by a rubber flap, so it is not getting any direct moister. But I have been noticing intermittent problems with it.

No, no, no, take it out now before you ruin it. What is the model number?

I think it is S690CCCC - It is buried back behind the battery.

In my other 2 trucks I did have them under the seat but I really didn't want to put anymore holes in my new truck. Plus the wires were not long enough for this truck.

Any way to make it water proof? I am pretty confident that it is not getting any direct moister or water splash in it's current location.

Do they make a water proof version?

Potted looks like the way to go - I don't see any pricing for them. Do you sell these or a potted one?

So I would have to run 2 units to get the same output?

    How much are you wanting?

No, you just need one. They may have different connectors on them though. George will tell you.
