So lately I've been thinking about what to charge, say there is a driveway thats worth $20 per push and add another $5 for salting and shoveling walkways.

How much would you charge for entire season? I would split the payment in 3, one at signing, one in january and one in march.

I can't comment on price as I don't do resi's and in the past never did them on a seasonal basis, but I would be very careful having them pay in March. Once the snow stops flying, good luck getting their money from most of them..

Find out your seasonal average for plowable snow events. Multiply that number by your $20. Some years they win. Some years you win. Seasonals pay in full up front.
