Is this worth what they're asking? I'm needing a plow for my truck. My truck is a F350. Will I have to get a new mounting system?
Western unimount snow plow. Looks like maybe a 7 1/2 foot. Plow looks in great shape but mounting bracket seems to be a little incomplete. $1000

Looks decent. For your case, I'd put on a new Ultramount with Unimount adapter with new wiring.

Even as a project, what would be a good offer on it? I know nothing about plows. This is my first year fooling with snow removal. So any advice from the vets is truly appreciated. I need to get a plow for my truck and there just aren't many in the area to choose from since we're not in a high volume snow area... Thanks

Just curious. What do you think that would cost me for a 2005 F350?

Wiring and mount, if you install it yourself plus the adapter, 700-900 bucks?

Wow, that would put me up to almost $2000...Doesn't seem like such a good deal now.

If you find the mount and wiring used, that plus the adapter would be about 500 bucks then.
