What's the difference between a SpeedCast and a QuickSwitch?

    Hi

The Speed Cast is the real old conventianal mount with the old X style quadraunt. The quick switch was still a conventional, but the Quad was made out of Channel iron and it used a single lever control, which was run by cables to the under the hood control valve, some had electric under the hood pumps or engine mounted pumps. They were replaced by the Minute Mount 1 with a under the hood engine run pumps which had electric clutches on the pump, much like a automotive AC compressor. The last of the conventional mounts were sold in the early 90's.
