Connect second battery in parallel, or connect using an isolator. I would prefer parallel but dealer service says use isolator. If I connect in parallel, will it effect computer in truck?

No won't affect computer. But, the dealer might attempt to not warranty items if you install second battery. Isolator is used to power trailers and campers so if you drain 1 battery you can still start the truck. If your installing battery for plowing capacity wire in parallel
