Im hear and see a lot posts regarding hydraulic tailgate spreaders. What all is involved to add central hydraulics to a contractors dump F450?

About 5 K. You need an underhood clutch pump, an oil tank, inside controls and you need to plumb it all up. It might be less money in the US but that's roughly what it cost me for my GMC dually. I'm assuming the Ford will be the same.

i had a friend do it him self for about 2k in parts , but honestly , we both knew about the systems and what to do

i dont think you have that kind of experiance based on the questions your asking, so i would think 4-5 k is about right to have someone else do it
