What kind of rates are you guys with skid mounted blowers charging or figuring they are worth per hour?

Id Say Hes Right Big Dog. I Have An S300 With The 74 Bobcat Blower And I Get 100 An Hour With A 2 Yd Snow Bucket And They Say The Blower Buts Time In Half So 150.00 Sounds Pretty Good To Me.

Bigdog, what did you end up buying for a blower? I have thought about buying one, but i am a little scared of the liability . doug

At least $250 an hour. Blowers are worth big money in deep snow.

I haven't bought one yet. Why? Cold feet I guess?

I most likely still will but I want to be sure first.

I was thinking in the 150-175 range. $250 and hour seems a bit steep, nice, but steep. I just wish we got the big snows that you get down in MD. :D

Out here in the Sierra Nevada mountains we get winter storms about a big as they come. I don't know anyone getting in the $200 range for a blower....

$140 an hour is the going rate with a push box around here. $250 is the starting rate with a blower. Only a handful of companies have them around here.

The rates are nice down there, but I assume you clock a lot fewer hours per season since you get so much less snow. Although, I haven't seen much of a New England winter up here in a few years. :realmad:
