I just got a 2001 f350 4x4 crew cab 7.3 diesel, I already have the truck side ultra mount. I dont know if i should get a western pro plow or a western pro- plus? Also, what size blade should I get 8' or 8'6''?

I did the quick match on the western website for a regular cab and i should only go up to a 9' pro plus, I forgot to mention I have 35" tires with a 2.5" lift kit.

Commerical lots of various size, usually open spaces for the most part. I work for a company now and I did a hotel parking lot and three other open parking lots. This is my first plow truck, I know a wideout is going to be worth the money, but I wanted to see what other westerns that are worth it. Is there anywhere were i can get a used wideout or any other type of western?

If you are going to sub for the guy you work for now I would ask him what he is going to pay you for the different blades. Then decide if the extra cost and maintenance i worth it. If you are plowing for yourself the wideout will be the most productive plow. Congrats on the new truck by the way.

Definatly a pro plus. i have a 9ft pro plus that i use for parking lots, you can move alot of snow with it, but dont plan on plowing driveways with it.

I'm thinking about a pro-plus, Im still in college so a wideout is out the the budget. I found a wideout and a 8' pro-plus, both used the wideout is 4-6 years old and the pro-plus is from 2007-08 as a back up plow. But I dont like how the wideout I would have to put a lot of weight in the back of the truck.

wideout (or fisher xls if you prefer trip edge)
or get the wider heavy duty plow and add box extensions if you really wanna clear lots fast
