Never had a western before (ultramount straight blade) and I assumed you put oil in the top front side of motor (like meyers), then realized the oil fill is on the lower section. Any suggestions before I tear into it? I am afraid my motor is full of oil. The place I put oil in is the front side of motor (plow side). It is a 90 degree elbow with a nut covered by a round cap. Help please!

You filled it through the breather...no big deal just don't do it again. Now remove the CORRECT fill plug in the reservoir and allow any excess fluid run out and you're done.
