I have a 2003 Dakota Quad Cab with 4.7L 4X4. The sway bar bushings are worn, but I cant figure out what size they are. The auto stores list 3 sizes, so unless I take a bushing off I wont know. Can I drive without the sway bar (less than a mile) to the partys store with the old bushings?

I have taken off the sway bars. You have a truck, not a car. In most cases, your truck will ride better becuase the suspension is not linked up. Remove it and see how you like the new ride :D

Maybe I have to go to a "regular" auto parts store....the franchise places don't have vernier calipers....I'm not about to buy one for a "one time" use.
