I am looking at purchasing a cat 950 and wondering what size box you recommend... It is about 130hp and weighs 28,000 lbs. Thankyou

Depends on the year of it i would say. I know a 938f and 938g can push a 16' all day. The 950 is bigger but then it also comes into what will fit on your lot.

    I owned an '05 Cat 928G for 6 years 26k lbs / 125hp and it handled a 14' pusher without any issues

I would see if someone around you has a 12 and a 14. Im glad i didnt get a 14 when i first stared. Its just a little to much on those wet heavy storms. Or see if theres a local rental place that will let you demo out 2 of them. I would at least try a 14 then go up or down from there.
