what should i charge

    my boss asked me if i could plow for him this year with my truck but i dont know what i should charge him i was thinking 30 hr

    No way. 55-75hr depending on blade size. Bigger blades get paid more.

    i got a 8 ft blad but no sander so thats why i thought 30

    you should do it for free for the first year to get experience.

    At 30 an hr. its going to cost you money. You need at least $60/hr.

    No less than $50. $60 would be better. You won't make money at $30. If you end up with a blown tranny or other expensive repair you might not make anything at all or lose money, even if you charge $100. Don't work for free. Cover your expenses and turn a profit.

    $30/hr is way too low.

    At least $50/hr and thats on the low side. Generally most sub contractors will pay you $50-75 hr. with a truck and 8 foot plow.
