I've ran Quickbooks Pro on an older Mac, which wont run on a newer Mac, just wondering what program your running for invoicing and such.

I just purchased Quickbooks for Mac 2010 and so far it works great. It has a lot more features than I will ever use and is pretty simple to navigate. I had read some bad reviews about minor issues, but as soon as I installed it, it updated itself with many bug fixes that were mentioned. I shopped around online and got it for $150. I would recommend it, however it is the only accounting software that I have used so I have nothing to compare it to.

    Filemaker v10. http://filemaker.com

There are several free & Paid template solutions out there available...

    Free: http://excelisys.com/web/exfiles/ex-biz-tracker.php
    Paid: http://www.databasepros.com/invoice.html

I have designed one just for plowing. It allows you to add customers, rates...track storm data, add the customers you plow to the storm along with times... and lastly, invoiceing the customers. Its still a work in progress...but about 90% complete. But I have found filemaker to be the solution becuase I can design it to track just the information I want.

Plus it can run on Mac and windows. I have my Toughbook in the truck ... plow all night long.. then get home and it syncs with my Mac in the office where I can print out the invoices.

I also have a free invoicing solution i found ... cant remeber the name of it off hand, but I will post it up once I get back home tomorrow. Free, easy to use and Mac :)
