what plow is this

    I am having problems finding a site that has these numbers

    it is a Meyer plow
    Electronic Power pack
    model 5-45
    serial number 256666

    its on a 94 chevy
    I see references made to e- style pumps ....but I cant find a cross reference


    anyone have any help for me...trying to rebuild it

    well there is is.....in my above post I put the info from the pump...trying to find replacement parts butneed to know what kind it is

    Looks like an old E46 to me.

    When I lif the plow it wont stay up......tore it a part cleaned it up....put it back together same thing....
    large solenoid is magnetic when engaged.............smaller one is not...or only very lightly ....


    after reading a bunch of posts on here

    think i need new valves and solenoids....

    but not for sure.........im not a mechanic

    It's an old E45...a predecessor of the E46-E47. And loooog out of production. Most parts are very tough to find for them since they've been out of production for so many years. Although some parts will interchange with the other E series pumps.

    i guess i will start searching
    was hoping to be able to get parts for it......sounds like it will be difficult

    can anyone tell me which pump assy would work in place of the e-45.....or would it require a new hook up.....

    Get yourself an E47, a new control harness, along with the controller of your choice and it'll all bolt right up.
