Thursday night and there calling for 6 - 9". Storm will end during Fridays morning rush hour. Trucks are mounted, loaded with salt, Blowers and shovels. You made your calls to the workers to be at yard at 1 am. What is that worry that keeps going through your head. Workers not showing up on time, An early major truck or plow break down, Getting more or less snow then expected. What do you worry about the most?

Pretty much everything. From the small things to large things. Hope it doesn't lead to an ulcer.

If I'll remember to take snacks and something to drink with me. And if I have a spare knife to open bags, and where I left my route lists. And then leaving myself enough time to take a shower and eat something decent before I leave in case I'm gone for way longer then expected.

Breakdowns...and the fact that I'll have everything cleaned off and salted and then we'll get another burst of snow that covers everything and I have to do it again. EVERY STORM!!!

My biggest concern is actually getting the snow predicted. Next is remember where I set my coffee LOL. Breakdowns don't worry me so bad, as after every storm the trucks are washed and given the once over so if there's anything wrong or starting to go wrong it's tended too before it's a huge mess.

    Where do I begin....

    In order:

    1. Will everyone show up?
    2. What will break?
    3. Will everyone remain safe, and will my equipment remain safe?
    4. Will someone slip/fall and sue me?
    5. Everything else that can be worried about while running a business....

Biggest key is having everyone show up,and be out on their route at just the right time

    Pretty well sums it up.

Although #2 could be reworded: What won't break. At least the way my year is going.

    1. What won't break
    2. Why do we have 1" of snow on the ground 2 hours before the 1" storm is supposed to start and its still snowing hard
    3. Where did I put my coffee for the 3rd time
