Make sure you look at plow restrictions with that motor.

The only one you cant get a Plow prep on is the Crew cab, because if you have 6 people in the cab you will be over weight on the front axle. But who goes plowing with 5 people riding shotgun?

I have a 2004 Chev. 3500 Crew Cab Diesel. I am getting 21.2 MPG at 65 on the highway. My plowing is currently at 9.9 MPG. I wanted the diesel crew so I had to go with the 3500 instead of the 2500HD.

I get 14.5 mpg around town, and 18 mpg on the highway. My Duramax is in a 2002 GMC 2500HD crew cab short bed, and it handles my 8'2" Boss poly V easily.

2001 GMC 2500HD crew cab. Get 15-16 mpg unloaded(would get better if I'd quit smoking every Mustang that thinks their fast. I get 10+ mpg when pulling my 9000lb 5th wheel....running 70+ .....gets 12+ if I keep it between 60-70
