My neighbor is selling her husband's 1993 K2500 Reg cab long bed. It has the six lug semi floater 14 bolt rear. It has the 350 and auto tranny but I'm not sure what auto tranny was behind the 350 2500's that year. The truck has no rust but the paint is coming all off because the white paint of those years was not very good. Truck only has 90,400 miles on it. She wants $3,000 for it. Is that too much.? Thanks.

The light duty (6 lug) 2500's that year almost always had the 4L60 (or) 4L60E. Same as a 1500.

yep I think 93 was the first year for the 4l60e/4l80e transmissions. My 92 Blazer still has a 700R4 in it. I dont think it was the white paint, it was the primer they used under it. I have the same issue as well. Scrape it all off and start fresh with that

I had a 93 S-10 4x4 with the 4L60E and I ended up getting the tranny replaced under warrenty because it kept messing up. I sure didn't like that tranny. Is this truck worth $3,000? Thanks.

I would try and offer 2500 but really no more than 2800 since it is only a light duty 2500
