Do most guys prefer the poly or the rubber snow deflectors? For the straight blades.

    Duramax,

I have a Western Poly Plus Plow with the Rubber Deflector. I love my Rubber deflector.

By poly, are you refering to the solid plastic type? That is what I have, and it seems to work great.

Rubber here. I always see the plastic ones all bent / molded in the up position, probably from stacking snow I'm guessing.

Hopefully, I'll be getting mine soon, going with the rubber flap because I'm afraid that I would break a poly one by piling wet heavy snow and it breaking the flap back. Atleast the rubber one will give if the snow is too heavy and comes back over the blade.

Do these show up when people order them, or do you just ignore all the orders?

LOL wonder what this means. I have been looking for deflectors on ebay with no results unless its through someones ebay store. And most of them were $169 or so. $100 is a great deal and i kept it local.
