What are these for?

    They're stacking stops. They limit how high the plow can travel.

    This is the first time since I pick it up to play with it. I had to adjust the quill before I smashed a hole in my drive. The wings are moving awful quick too.

    They're usually only necessary if your lower lift frame is assembled in configuration #4.

    They do move much faster than the older plows. Higher working pressure on the hydraulics, and 3/8" hoses on the rear of the wing cylinders. No more falling asleep while your plow goes into scoop position. :D

    Yeah... wing stops are optional now. Part #44473.

    Interesting that the center pieces of your cutting edges aren't already slotted. I've never seen them that weren't.

    That's a cool plow. Interesting story about how you got it. I was reading your thread on it last week.

    Boss sued Western over the design I'm told. The rest of the blade is slotted.

    Yea, Western took good care of me.
