Weve had 8 plowable events here. Best season yet, in a number of years. Been warm and clear for a couple weeks now, but March and April are our snowiest, so hopefully, the best is yet to come.

So this is where we learn about averages. Last winter in southern NH we had 16 plow occurrences. The two years before that had 6 and 4 respectively. If an average of the number of storms per year over a period of say, 15 years is taken, we receive 10 snow occurrences a year. That said, if we average out the last 3 yrs. and look to maintain the average, we may have 4 more storms this year. However, averages are made up of extremes, so there is no accounting for anything til April when we look back.

We got 1/2 a plow in this year so far, lots of salting though.

Thinking were starting spring cleanups next week. WTF?
