Hey guys, heres the deal. This is a unimount setup straight blade, and we have been wrapping our tiny brains around this issue for a week now, ripping it apart, going back and forth and we are stumped.

First off, the plow was working just fine, the next day, nothing. Clicking from the motor, but no movement which lead to plow moving only after LEFT BUTTON was hit first on the plow controller (SAM Controller), that was fixed.

On to then next issue, it moves every direction, solenoids are powered and magnetized working properly, motor and pump are running building pressure but plow only moves slightly with a serious jerk. Stops moving, but motor continues to run while button is being pressed. Could it be the poppet valves not holding pressure? We think it may be a hydro problem because everything else is working on it. Plow works but you have to bump the buttons to get it to go in the direction you want.

Thanks in Advance, really irritated plow guys!:mechanic:

So I understand, motor runs continuously during a function but plow movement is jerky?

Clean the nine pin connectors, all lot of times that's the problem, and get a Western controller.

9 pin connector is clean and controller is new, everything works the way it should, just rebuilt plow, the only problem is when the button is pressed it only moves a little bit, you have to keep hitting the button to get it to move 4" at a time, its like its building pressure moving it 4" and then it stops but motor is still running, I really think its the poppet valves not holding pressure but I can't find any info on it

When you are operating the plow, are you loosing current at the specific valve. Run direct power and ground to the valve, then energize the relay, see what happens.

    Nothing....

Click left button, skips left, press button skips left etc etc. Same with right, up and down. Now when you hit the button it skips, skips then nothing at all, and drops real fast.
