i just got a new western 8 ft ultra and i noticed the pins they give you to lock in the smaller brackets to the truck frame brackets don`t have holes for them to go into.the crappy directions show the pins going in right along side where the ultra latching hooks would grab.so i drilled holes in the gold color pin that slides in those smaller brackets.the holes are on the inside which i think are better so the hooks won`t beat them to hell.what a pita it was to drill melted 3 bits

The hole is in the black dong sticking out of the reciver box. (the gold pin/bracket slides over the dong) Sounds like you made it work anyway!! good luck:waving:

Dude...... What are you doing ???? the gold pin slides into the frame and the reciever ( removalbe part ) of the frame and then that black peg sticking out of the receiver part has the hole in it for the clip pin and that holds both the receiver and the gold pin in place..... Just watch those pins hooking the plow up .. I broke one already , and it hasnt even snowed yet.......
