Western snowplow T handle problems

    Hey Guys. The T-handle controller and the contacts are bad. Is there parts available to fix these ? I was told I can replace the T handle with a new joy stick controller as long as I change the red cables to the black cables the joy stick uses, Is this true ? Also is there a repair manual for the T-handle controller ?Thanks.

    hi Doug,
    yes the contact wire is still available. it's part # 55968. should be about $50. it's still in the price list, and we have one on the shelf if you don't find one closer to you.
    and yes, if you need to replace the T-stick, it would be the 56018 joystick that you'd have to get. don't worry about cable, because they come with it, and yes they are different than the t-handle cables.
    you would also need a bracket and screws to mount it, because they are different.
    there doesn't seem to be anything on Westernplows.com anymore that actually shows that T-stick, but there's not many parts available for it anymore, and it's not complicated.

    for troubleshooting and adjusting cables and so forth you can refer to this, but it shows the newer joystick control:
