western pro flo.

    well it's that time of year again!!! I've been thinking about purchasing the Pro Flo spreader and just trying to get some feed back. what type of material can i spread bulk, bag, sand. Thanks.ussmileyflag

    In a Pro Flow 2 you can spread bulk salt or sand but in a Pro Flow 1 I think you can only spread bagged salt. I have the Pro Flow 2.

    The Pro Flow 2 has a coveyor belt in the bottom of it to move the material to the spreader. The Pro Flow 1 is a drop spreader. Check out their website at the top of the page.

    Best thing to use is dry material....sand.salt or a sand/salt mix.

    Thanks Hydro 37. That's what I thought. I had smaller spreaders in the past, just thought this being a larger spreader would be different. Thanks' again.
