I'm running a 7'6" Western polypro on my Sierra 1500. Both circa 2000.
Previous owner ran 10 years doing commercial lots and driveways.
I'm just doing a couple driveways in the country, lots of drifting...

Sometimes I have to work the snow to get it out of the way but no problems yet. I have 600# of sandbags in the back for ballast.

Wow, could you be any more vague?

Not every 8ft plow is the same.

And there are 5 western straight plows ranging from 250lbs to 800lbs.

Also not every 1500 series pickup is the same.
