Is there an adjustment on the pump for lowering the plow? Plow drops straight down fast when put in lower position is this the joystick? Joystick control seams like it is maybe going into float as soon as you hit lower on stick. Thanks alot.

The drop speed can be adjusted on most plows. Go to the western website and under publications you can go find the proper manual for your plow. It will tell you in there how to adjust it.

Joysticks float instantly in the lower position, hand held's do not. Also, is it a Unimount or Ultra? There's a "quill" adjustment screw to slow down or speed up the drop speed.
