I have put a new pump and motor in my Western Plow. I received it used and it was week so I decided to do so. now I cant even get it to raise. the motor engages but nothing so a pressure test is out of question.
This is a side to side cable control Plow I put about 2 quarts of Western Plow fluid in before bolting down the motor.
My adjustment bolt is 3 threads out and my cables are set Horizontal.

Please Help Snow Snow and no plow to plow.

Pull the cover off and check that the cable is not broke inside. You should be able to jump the solenoid to actuate the motor and operate the valve by hand to be sure the valve is good.
