Is the Western 8'6" MVP mount and harness the same for a 04 Ford F350 and an 03 F450?

Thanks, I did that but there are two versions for the 04 F350, one for the truck being manufactured before 12/1/2003 and one for after 12/1/2003. The F350 was manufactured in 12/2003, no specific date so not sure what mount it has other than getting a pic of it and comparing it to what should be on an 03 F450.

For the truck, your's is what's considered a late 04'. The trucks are the same except late 04 has the revised 05-07 6.0 in it. Everything else is the same, except for specific engine components like HPOP, IPR,etc.

Lot of systems have listings for both, but the mounts wont be different unless you have an 05 which began the coil front instead of leafs.

The Western quick match lists different mount #'s for the late '04 and the early '04.

    Late: 3249
    Early: 67982 (same as 03 F450)

Weird because they are identical up until the 05 switch to coils. I know Hiniker has a similar thing with their mounts. The mount I had on my late 04 was a 99-03 mount, went on with zero issues. It's more the generic system they use for fitment than anything.

Out of curiosity does the 05-07 mount have the same number as the late 04? If so I'd bet money it's thinking a late 04 has coil front.

I looked up an 07 F350 4x4 crew/8' bed, single rear wheels and 6.0 diesel, it lists part #33259. When I emailed Western, they said the frame is different on the late '04's. Who knows.

So they say there is a "special" late 04 mount, then a 99-04 and a 05-07? Not saying they're wrong...but they're wrong, lol.
