I finally bought the western mvp snow plow, I have run into one problem already, it mounts to low to the ground on my 2004 3/4 hd GMC, when the receivers are in they bottom out if I go over a big bump, has anyone else run into this problem? some people have said i need to put a lift kit into the truck, if I do this will it affect my warranty? will turning up the torsion bars give me enough clearance? i'm thinking I want about two inches or so, any advice would be great!!

CPR....I have the same problem. Timbrens will help.

Mark your t-bar bolt heads and frame for reference.
Turn clockwise to raise 5 full turns. That should give ya 1 1/2 inches more
    clearance.

I mark my bolt heads and turn them back down in summer.
NO alignment or front end issues (knock on wood) with my 01 and 04 do far !
