Had my truck out for the 2nd snow of the season today with everything working just fine. All of a sudden, I heard a loud bang from the front end, and then had no up/down or left/right control. Both cables are fine, and can see no external problems with the unit whatsoever. Anyone ever had this happen with one of these older Western Mark III units? Looking for ideas on where to start. Thanks.

lose any fluid, does the motor run? check the bottom mounting lug. Had one break once and it sounded like that. But there was fluid everywhere.
