Can anyone tell me when Western introduced the UltraMount? Just curious how old the technology is.

Also, when did they discontinue the Standard blade series?

Ultra came out in the 2002-2003 time period.

I bought my Ultra straight blade when I got my 01 Chevy in Sept. 2000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still running it on my 07 and it celebrated its 10th birthday this month .....................

My bud still has the Western conventional straight blade I bought in 1990 and had it
on my 90-94 and 97 Chevy trucks.
