i have a western conventional witha 9' electric pump that drops as you drive, sitting or shut off . I also unhooked the harness' from the pump after the blade was raised and it will still drop.

I checked and the fluid is full and clean, could a valve be shot?if so which one?

Probably a leaking S1 valve. May have a damaged O-ring on it or simply a little debris caught in it. Easy enough to pull it out and give it a through cleaning. Doesn't cost anything but some brake clean and a little time.

Right hand one in the top two. Closest to the lift ram.
