i bought a 8ft western pro this year and i am thinking
about getting a deflector. western makes a nice looking
red polyethelene(what ever the hell that is)deflector
which looks better then the black rubber one. i can get it
for the same price as the rubber one. i was wanted to know if anyone has used this one.
    thanks

I have one on my Western it works fine. It was on there when I bought it. I would go with rubber, when you walk around the front of your plow and catch the edge of the deflector in the thigh you will understand why.

Also, you can take a look at the thread "snofoil" started by scott185 (on page 8 right now) for some other ideas.
