I am brand new to the Forum.

I have a Western Conventional plow (Plow Lights remain on truck, even when plow is removed), the factory bumper is always on the truck. It is currently on an '85 Ford F250. The engine is shot.

I want to put the Conventional Plow- it works great- on a different truck. I want to make the swap as clean and easy as possible, but get a newer more dependable truck.

    1. Am I limited to buying a 1985-1991 Ford F250?

    2. What problems are involved if I buy a newer truck or a different make of truck?

    I appreciate your help.

If you go to anything with a different frame your looking at some fab work. Could be more or less depending on what truck you go to.
