Western cable controlled unit non-movement issues and puking fluid.

    ok, western cable controlled unit. was working fine, then it didnt want to move. not up, not down, not left or right. the motor would engage but it was like it was at full lock. my guy took out a plug from the bottom of the pump and the pump slammed down. now when you try to move the plow, the gasket in between the lower mounting eye and the pump body shoots fluid out 3 feet.

    what happened?

    You blew the o ring on the bottom of the pump. Mine came loose last year and blew all my fluid out, Mine is not a cable pump but its the same thing.I took one off an old cable pump to fix mine in the middle of a storm
