I searched. Don't know which forum to put this in, so I'll put it here.

I found a Western 1000 on Craigslist and it's a good deal. I have the 08 F150, the hitch is a class 4. It has the towing package as well. 7200# GVWR.

Will this work? I won't need to fill it up full, just enough to do one or two driveways (probably 100lbs for both of the ones I'd have to salt).

    It will work just fine
Don't put material in the spreader till you get to where you want to spead it. The material will fall out of the spinner. I put a plastic bag in mine if I carry material around in the hopper.
Put the extra material over the axle while transporting.

    Thank you Hydro! :)

Called on it, left a VM. Hopefully I can pick this one up.
