I have 2 western unimounts, one is an 8 foot the other is a 7.5 foot. Does anybody know how much heavier the 8 foot is compared to the 7.5 foot?

I have a 8.5 and it was less than 30 lbs heavier than the 8 foot they are unimount pro plows. So I would say 8 to 7.5 should be about the same.

the 8 is about 5 inches shorter in height and 6 inches shorter in width. i def notice a difference when i hook up to the bigger plow. but i do have a thicker cutting edge and also a backdrag edge on the 8 foot which im sure is adding quite a bit.

Depends on whether the 7.5 is a standard or a pro.

    US75 standard is 26.5" tall and a UP75 & UP80 Pro is 28" tall.
